You do have to sign up and you'll be assigned a day to hold the metaphorical “baton.” On your day, you'll log into the account and post a minimum of five photos, and you don't need to be a professional photographer. It's an Instagram page that passed around between users for a day, so you'll see a different glimpse into our region. ![]() The Instagram page, Syracuse Baton, takes just ordinary moments of your day - from grabbing a delicious cup of coffee at your favorite roaster, to that beautiful summer sunset - and it allows you share it with others. The group is called Syracuse Baton, and Alexa Green has the details. It's been coined Central New York's first "photo relay." Instagram users around the area are using social media to share their daily activities and show off all that Central New York has to offer.
